The work of rebuilding Christchurch after the twin earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 is huge. It will take everyone involved in Fletcher’s EQR work the better part of this decade to bring Christchurch’s vibrant beauty back.

This is where Dyck Decorators’ Fresh Start philosophy will play a major role in our involvement in the rehabilitation and rebuilding of our beloved Christchurch.

At Dyck Decorators, every painter and project manager in our team lives and breathes the belief that a fresh coat of paint is a Fresh Start.

We believe that sometimes, all it takes for people to move on and fully embrace a new beginning is the sight of spanking new colours adorning interiors and exteriors...which is why we can sometimes be obsessive-compulsive in making sure our finished painting work is the excellent best that a master painter can do.

My father (Dieter, founder of Dyck Decorators) and I, residents of Christchurch, are doubly compelled to take part in the earthquake rebuilding because we believe there is so much Dyck Decorators can do.

We want to see the community we live in get back on its feet and our neighbours reclaiming lives and dreams disrupted by the earthquake. A fresh coat of paint, to my mind, seems to be a definite closure to the rubble of the Christchurch earthquakes.

Our painting company is in that enviable position right now of making a difference in our community. We’ll take advantage of the chance to participate, thank you.

Yes, the Christchurch rebuilding initiative is a gargantuan project and we need all hands on deck to make it a success. To realize this, Dyck Decorators is currently accepting applications from interested professional painters and painting contractors to work with us.

We need a lot of painters to come join us. We carry out a broad range of decorating and painting services—new construction, repainting, maintenance painting, and ultimately, the Christchurch rebuilding project. We will we need the help of full-time professional painters and painting contractors, not freelance painters who do this only in their spare time.
